AOMDA Isolated Graves Ceremony Schedule
Memorial Day Weekend 2011
During Memorial Day weekend, AOMDA visits each of the eight isolated graves and conducts a small ceremony. The ceremony consists of placing flags and flowers on the graves, playing the American and Belgian national anthems, and a small tribute. Each ceremony normally lasts for about fifteen minutes. However, sometimes local community involvement can make the event larger and longer. If you are interested in attending one of these ceremonies, please e-mail: contact@aomda.org.
